DIY Router Table
This router table is made of a Birch Plywood cabinet, MDF top, and Dark Walnut trim. The cabinet features 2 large bottom drawers for router & jig storage, 2 vertical storage drawers on the left and right sides, and a center compartment for access to the router lift and cleaning dust. The Birch plywood carcass is made simply using wood glue and butt-joints with wood screws. The left and right side drawers features slide hardware on 1 side only to allow for shelf storage within the drawer. The MDF top is routered out in the middle for the router lift to be recessed; and allow for t-track install for the router table fence. The fence is from Tay Tools and has all the great features you love in a router table fence. The MDF top is finished in 3 coats of Shellac, sanding with 220-grit between each application. This top is super slick!
Lastly, the entire unit is mounted on heavy duty locking casters that are perfect for keep the unit in place when working, but mobile when needed.
