Valet Box With Storage

For this project, I used Cherry. I think it has an excellent grain and looks beautiful when finished. I traced out my everyday carry pistol and carved out an outline. I then built some sides around the bottom plate and glued everything together. I then made an insert tray for the top portion of the project to hold my wallet, watch, pocket knife, and other carry items. I finished the project with 2 coats of Tung Oil and 2 coats of Polyurethane.
